I'm trying to configure a softphone for someone on a Fido 3GB tablet plan. Incoming and outgoing calls are working with CSipSimple, but SMS isn't. I've read older threads from 2011 through 2014 about trying to get SMS working on Android, but I have yet to read that it actually works and what they specifically did. I'm not opposed to using another softphone for texting.
