Today at my office I got 17 blocked call attempts from 6 different numbers up until about 5 pm. So it's a quiet day (my phones don't ring when the spammers are blocked). Then a call came in - lasted all of about 8 seconds before they baled on the call - left no trace in my phone system (ie did not dial 0 or any extension) which is typical of practically all garbage calls that get through my list of about 225 call-filter rules.
Here are the last few call attempts (that got blocked) and the time they happened:

2019-02-18 17:07:47 "V21817074300040" 5878012841

2019-02-18 17:07:50 "V21817074300040" 5878012841
2019-02-18 17:07:56 "V21817074300040" 5878012841
2019-02-18 17:07:59 "5878012841" 5878012841
I'm not paying for CNAM lookup so that is what voip.ms passes to me.
I'm showing the actual phone number - which I think is OK here because if you dial it, you get the message "the number you have dialed is not in service" so I'm thinking it's ok to post it. That number shows up on sites like 800notes and other spam-forums. The caller-ID string (the thing starting with V218) is not revealing of anything identifiable as far as I know. I'm blocking the entire 587 area code - have been for about a month now when garbage calls started from that area code.
Anyways, note the 6 attempts within 15 seconds, and the last attempt where the caller ID string was changed. Now up to this point, this is not unusual. But just 2 seconds later, this call comes in:
2019-02-18 17:08:01 "351232102027" 351232102027
I don't have an NPAN filter rule for this DID because we can get international calls (rare but they do happen).
Again I'm posting the entire number because, well, for one thing it's not an NPAN number format. It's got 12 digits. The number doesn't start with 01 or +011 or some such, so I have no clue if it's supposed to be an international number. Because it happened 2 seconds after the run of blocked attempts from the 587 number I'm thinking it's coming from the same bunch of Klowns. Anyways, I'm going to now be blocking 35XXXXXXXXXX (35 plus any 10 digit sequence) so I'm asking here just what international location (if any) would I be blocking...?
