I am using a grandstream HT701 to interface their paging system with their Grandstream VOIP system. The 701 is connected to a viking rad1-a which is then connected to the paging amp input via the 600 ohm connection. I then dial the extension of the 701 to use the overhead paging system.
The issue seems to be after some interval of time or attempts the 701 becomes unresponsive and does not accept new calls. When this happens I disconnect the viking rad1-a and connect an analog phone to the 701 and I am able to make and receive calls just fine. After I reconnect the viking it appears to start working again, until some amount of time when the issue reoccurs.
I have changed a number of settings with not luck as well as the port being used. On a side note, I have had similar issues with other ATA's as well such as -Linksys and cisco. I am not sure where the problem is presenting itself.
Any ideas or suggestions would greatly be appreciated!
