I have a basic understanding of OUTGOING CNAM - how the provider sends your name to the LIDB (Line Information Database), but it's the responsibility of the provider *receiving* your call to look it up, cache it, refresh it's cache, etc. Callcentric even pushes my name into [one or more] of the LIDBs for my free NY number they give me. Kudos to Callcentric.
However, my question is whether there is any way to make Google Voice do this for my GV number? I was sure this has been discussed before... but I searched the forum and can't find any threads that discuss it.
Just wondering.
