A friend is asking for my assistance in switching from a CC setup with a BYOD GS 702 ATA to a Voipo subscription. The purpose would be for her to be able to call Voipo Tech. Support, if needed, rather than relying on my help, since I can't be available at the drop of a hat and, on occasion, for days.
Looked at the Voipo Pre-sales forum section, but couldn't find answers to her (and my) questions, as follows:
Does Voipo have east coast servers? CC's New York servers are a lot closer to Massachusetts than southern California servers would be.
Does Voipo allow fully anonymous outgoing calls? For whatever reason, CC sends a Syracuse, NY CID, rather than the subscriber's CID. At this time, the Syracuse CID has been classified as "medium Spam" by TrueCNAM.
Does Voipo tack-on nuisance fees to the $149.99 permanent sale price? If so, how much?
What is the current renewal price upon the expiration of a two year subscription?
Any Voipo dirty little secrets she should be aware of before jumping ship? :)
