[Equipment] VOIP Connection Issue with Phone Adapter & Surfboard

Hi, It's been a LONG time since I was on here but I need some help once again. Recently, Comcast ISP lost connection. It messed up my Surfboard SBG6580 and my Grandstream HT502. Also, my Surfboard was NOT recognizing my UN/PW...long story short, I finally got in and did a factory reset. At this point I still could not make calls, so I checked the PP support pages and realized SIP might be enabled. So, I disabled it. Still nothing. I called PP and told them what I did and they tried to test my signals and so on. I finally got a connection and hung up with them. I then tried to make a call and nothing but busy signal. I called PP back again, this tech also tried to test signal and said the adapter was finally garbage and would send a new one out on Monday. It's Wednesday and I received it. Guess what? Still a busy signal. So, I think they jumped the gun and I thought so when I talked to them both times. Anyway, I see the PP forums are no longer in existence? And there's nothing about getting a busy signal on there. I found one post on here, but the person didn't go through the troubleshooting, so I am starting my own thread. I hope that is okay? I just need some general troubleshooting suggestions to try out and get this thing running. If not, I will have to call them again, but I figure some of you guys are on the ball. I KNOW it has to be something simple and for once it wasn't me making a mountain out of a mole hill! hahaha Thanks for anyone that can give me some direction.
