A few years ago we decided to stop paying for Shaw's VOIP service and try an independent. I found CircleNet and we have been happy customers! Sam was very friendly about helping me set things up and he is a pleasure to deal with if/when minor service issues pop up.
Since CirdleNet is abandoning personal home service we need to jump ship. I think I have narrowed it down to CallCentric and Anveo. It's hard for me to figure out what our bill might be like between the 2.
The number we want to port is available with either service (I have checked).
We live in Kamloops BC and most our calling is local. Calling the shop to see when the car will be ready to pick up or having the dentist call us to confirm an appointment etc. We both have Cell phones too so we could even ditch the service all together but its nice to have a "house phone" and several people use the number regularly.
There are occasional Birthday and Christmas calls etc that are made out of province and those might last the better part of an hour.
Can anyone suggest the best way for us to go?
I've even heard that CircleNet might be able to keep up service for Canadians, but it has been awful difficult to get ahold of Sam recently and I fear if we have a service issue that might not be too good. Perhaps once he has things all straightened out with the new project we could even return to Circlenet.
Thanks for any input.
I understand its only a few dollars a month but might as well spend it wisely.
