Hi gang, whenever I speak to someone from my voip.ms line using my cell phone data on Fido (Rogers network) using the Zoiper app, they always tell me that they keep getting an echo (feedback), hearing there own voice, when they talk. I'm using an Asus Zenfone 2 Laser cellphone.
Can someone help me out to figure out why it's always happening?
I tried calling on Wifi, LTE, with the same result. I even reduced the speaker gain to -6. But when I use the Hangout Dialer to call someone, the call quality is really good, no complaints. I also even used a different voip.ms server with the same result. I also changed the Audio Driver in Zoiper to use External Java Driver and it's the same.
I'm using the G711 (uLaw) codec, should i be using G729? Is it something I need to change on the voip.ms settings that I'm missing?
Let me know if more info is required.
