We are finding that calls placed to day to most 212NPA DIDs on Voip.ms and Vitelity are failing. The DIDs are based at rate center NWYRCYZN01. We have reported this to Voip.ms and it is now on their issue tracker.
We have verified that calls placed today from New York fail from Verizon Wireless, T-Mobile, Optimum, and now Callcentric. I understand that calls placed to these same 212 DIDs complete when placed from other parts of the country. Moreover, we have found that calls placed from Verizon FiOS in New York area do complete, as do calls from Voip.ms and Vitelity (of course). I have not been able to test from any other carriers.
I'd appreciate a little help figuring out the extent of this outage. I have temporarily routed DID 2124539896 to, well, uh, "Lenny". (Have to route to something. May as well make it entertaining - plus Lenny hasn't been around in some time.)
