I forward incoming calls from my DID provider to several Anveo Retail SIP URIs (depending on called number).
Until yesterday, I had never exceeded (what I believed was) a daily forty minute so-called "Platform Minutes" free quota.
Yesterday, I did. By my reckoning, rounding each individual call to the next whole minute, I used forty-eight Platform minutes and was charged "$(0.105000)."
Since I used forty-eight minutes, the charge, presumably, would have been for eight extra minutes. Although I remember reading somewhere that the extra minutes were a penny each, I was actually charged $0.013125 for each extra minute.
I'm not complaining about the charge, Anveo Retail, given its formidable "Call Flow" handling facility, is generous in offering any free minutes. For example, VoIP.ms charges $0.25/month for each SIP URI ("Virtual DID" in VoIP.ms speak) as well as $0.0001 per minute in six seconds increments.
What I would like is clarity about the Platform Minutes free quota and the exact per minute charge for minutes in excess of the quota.
