My mother and I were discussing ways for her to lower her $250 a month Frontier.
We were discussing options and she asked me how much I pay for my phone, I told her around $100 a year.
She said, in a very suprised way, "a year?!"
Yep. I'm a happy Future9 subscriber for over 10 years-ish.
So you're probably wondering why I don't just recommend Future9 to her.
Well, I don't really want to play tech support for her VoIP phone. If something goes wrong, she's going to call me and I'll have to do some configuration.
Depending upon the costs, I want her to call the VoIP provider and have them fix the problem. (Am I a bad son for thinking this?) :O
So, any suggestions for VoIP providers? I have a friend who uses OOMA and hasn't complained.
Thanks!
