[Other] Digits : SIP Credentials

Hi. I want to see if there is a way to authorize my Tmobile DIGITS line on my grand stream desktop phone (or PBX or related device) via SIP. Honestly I'm surprised I couldn't find any topics in here about anyone trying to get it to authorize to their PBX or hack the web app to make it happen. I've quietly been monitoring the forums for a while and I can't find anything. Why on earth would I want to do such a thing? I'm cheap. Any way I can make a few more free calls (and incorporate it into my desktop phone) is preferrable. Sure, I can dial away on the cell phone. But I just like the feel of the cheap plastic handset that is permanently affixed to my desk. So the reason I bring this up today is because I was bitching in my Google Play review for the DIGITS app about how bad the app is, how it won't stay registered, won't send texts (lots of issues) recently. Somebody reached out to me and told me how to authorize logging and some fun debugging screens also appeared that show the SIP servers, ports, usernames, etc (password is not plain text inside the app) settings are available. After I did that, I emailed myself the log and looked over the app settings that were unlocked hoping I could find something I could use. I see a lot of things that I am familiar with and it does look like it's using SIP to send the phone audio (data only setting). However, after a little trial and error I was unable to get it to register. That said, I'm not confident enough I got everything just right. Honestly, I don't know enough about how the protocol works to tell for sure if I am doing things wrong, or if it's even possible to get third party hardware to register and make calls. I was reaching out to see if anyone else has Tmobile and, maybe has a little more expertise in this sort of thing to give it a try and if you can make it work, can you share the love back by documenting the correct settings so maybe some of us cheap SOBs can incorporate it into our PBX or desktop phones and save a few more pennies on our calls. They asked me not to share the code, so I won't (publicly ;) ) but feel free to continue the discussion if anyone is interested and if you think you want to take a crack at it, PM me and I'll send you the code (you dial it in the dialer on the app).
