Zadarma review

Since this site was not able to post my review for unclear reasons for like 9 days, I am trying to post it here and get it of my mind as done. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Zadarma provides a number of services, VoIP, call back, DIDs, SMS, web dialing, business services with cloud based PBX and more. I only use their Android application on my cell phone for outgoing calls, which obviously limits my experience. The web site is decent. I found this company due to recent problems with EEA termination from non EEA originations. Zadarma makes it possible to use EEA rates for anyone who has a verified DID from an EEA country, whether or not through them, so I could use my Localphone overseas DIDs. Zadarma provides DIDs in some countries for very competitive rates, especially in Russia where you can get a free Moscow DID( free only with minimum 700 incoming minutes commitment) and Ukraine. Even in some countries where the DIDs are less competitive, since many of them have no set up fees they may make sense for shorter term use. Their DIDs are multi channel. Also some call rates are impressive, Russia, Canada and others. I-nums are available. Also, if you have a SIP device, in certain countries people can call an access number and enter your SIP number and get connected. Setting up the service on my phone was very easy, the CS is reasonably responsive. You get 50c start up credit to test the service. Call quality is okay, but not perfect. They overstate the quality. Consistent without fluctuation in quality. It would be interesting to know how it sounds with a VoIP phone rather than cell phone. Since I have no DID from them I cannot comment on incoming calls. A few caveats : all moneys are forfeited after 365 days. So if you are only an occasional user deposit only $ 5.-. On edit : Company removed this provision from TOS. For calls of 5c/min or more or for DID orders, they require a passport/ ID copy. And last not least, they are based in Moscow, Russia. With the current U.S. administration it may not be an issue, but still something to keep in mind. On edit: See company's comment down the thread. Furthermore, they expressly do not provide any provisioning instruction/help for Obihai adapters or phones so everyone has to figure out himself how to create a digitmap for service with Zadarma while using Obihai. For anyone who needs inexpensive termination in certain EEA countries, Russia, Ukraine and DIDs in certain countries they could be the right choice.
