Hello.
Because I don't do Windows, or Macintosh, or Google Play, or iPhone, I ordered an OBI302 ATA in order to try-out DialPad's free offering.
I would have preferred to use my existing OBi1022 SIP phone. Unfortunately, if I allow DP to provision it, DP owns it. If the ATA trial doesn't work out, I can return it and nothing will have been lost except my time.
Here and there, I have read about a bug with the latest OBihai ATA firmware having to do with use of a SIP phone with an OBi ATA. While the bug might be a problem, it sounds like using a SIP phone with an OBi ATA is doable. The big question is, how is it done.
Has anyone done it and care to share (or can direct me to a How-To-Do-It or a How-I-Did-It)?
By the way, I also have a Yealink T22P SIP phone that I can also use if it would work.
Thank you.
