I'm trying to figure out a couple things here. The ATA in question is SPA-112. AT voip.ms main account is nnnnnn, and sub account is nnnnnn_Line2. Both using same POP, both showing registered. ATA is configured to match (ie - second rj-11 jack is nnnnnn_Line2). I can make calls from either port on the ATA. But only port-1 rings on incoming calls.
At v.ms, Edit DID, routing, show failover options, routing if busy, SIP/IAX is selected (sub account - nnnnnn_Line2 in drop-down box).
So what or where else do I have to set to get the second line (second port) to ring if the first port is in-use?
Second question: While on a call, if a second incoming call happens, I hear a beep (call waiting tone I guess) and then a short , fast sequence of tones and then a short burst of noise. I believe I'm "hearing" the CID data of the incoming call. My phone handset does show the CID, but I don't think I should be hearing the CID data. Is this a failure of the phone? Or a setting in the ATA?
Is having call-waiting and routing-on-busy to line2 compatible with each other?
