Within about an hour of my land-line telco number being ported and functioning with voip.ms, I look at my call logs and see 6 inbound calls that describe themselves as "DID Test Call - Echo Test" when the destination is my DID, and "Echo Test" when the destination is "4443" (which I have no idea what that is). None of these calls actually rang the phone connected to my ATA. The caller ID for these is the same -> 702, then 238, then 7559 (phone numbers get stripped out of anon posts, so I'm being creative here). These calls are listed as "answered", with a call duration of 3 seconds, but at a zero rate (ie - no charge). Sometimes the rate type is Value.
Is this voip.ms performing a test to see if the number got ported correctly and is up-and-running?
