I just want to know how these are related. This is for SPA112 if that matters.
If I have Nat mapping enable: No and Nat Keep-Alive Enable: No, does that mean I must therefore have my chosen SIP and RTP ports forwarded in my router? In other words, does having Nat Mapping and Nat keep-alive both set to Yes mean I don't have to create any port-forwarding settings in my router as it pertains to the ATA?
Do the two settings NAT Mapping and Nat Keep-alive go hand-in-hand? As in, they are either both Yes or both No? Or are they independent of each other - and if so, what does it mean if one is Yes and the other is No?
Bonus question: SIP and RTP ports seem to be specified in terms of a range of ports (ie - more than 1) not just a single port. Is there a performance reason why there must be several ports available (ie 5060 - 5080)? Or can a single port number be specified (and forwarded, if necessary)?
