FiOS and VoIP (new G2100 and SIP-ALG)

As most know, the Verizon FiOS Quantum Gateway Router (a/k/a G1000 or BHR4) is can be highly problematic with VoIP due to the inability to disable SIP-ALG. Since Verizon needs to inject their programming info into TV co-ax, requiring their router, we've had to come up with all sorts of alternatives when FiOS customers want VoIP and TV. For our VoIP customers that don't need TV the solution has been easy: activate the Ethernet port on the ONT and use our own router. Now we are hearing that Verizon will be introducing a combination ONT/Router, the G2100. Anyone know about this equipment yet. Can SIP-ALG be disabled? Can it be set to bridge mode so one's own router can be used? If the answer to both questions is no, then FiOS users (and VoIP providers whose customers are on FiOS) are going to be faced with a dilemma: FiOS won't work well with VoIP. Thoughts on this? (Many of us suspect that the inability of the G1100 to disable SIP-ALG is by design - Verizon's attempt to stifle competing VoIP services while skirting Net Neutrality Rules. Thoughts?)
