Hi all. I just discovered Linphone (from a tip off from a fellow DSLReports member) and it's great: free, supports G722/G729, receives SMS/voice from my overseas phone number. Ticks all the boxes I care about.
There's only one thing I don't like: it seems to send an auto-reply to every SMS it receives which costs me money (every incoming SMS and every outgoing SMS costs a few cents). Here is an example of one of the outgoing auto-reply texts:
XML<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?><imdn xmlns="urn:ietf:params:xml:ns:imdn"><message-id>56e8f0733a26ecf2162dc26c8b83d581@74.86.96.2</message-id><datetime>2017-08-09T12:09:50Z</datetime><display-notification><status><displayed/></status></display-notification></imdn>
Anybody know what this is, why Linphone sends them, and how to disable it?
