Currently, I am WAY over paying for my landline. I love all things networking/server related, and wanted to dive into running my own home PBX from a SIP Trunk. In my case, it would be a single ported number (our current land line number) and I need the handsets to act like our current analog system. E.g.- when a call comes in, all phones ring at the same time, and all phones share the line, so that if I am downstairs and answer, and the lovely wife is upstairs, I can tell her a call is for her, and all she has to do is pick up the line. I don't want to have to "transfer" the call to a separate internal phone.
It looks like the Grandstream DP720/750 had this feature (Ring Groups -> Shared), but it was removed due to technical issues. Do any other systems allow this?
