I've been looking in to reselling voip services, mostly focusing on the voip.ms model but I've recently realized how expensive it actually is.
It's impossible to compete with the guys offering unlimited US/Canada for CAD$10/month when the costs are USD$0.01/minute. If I wanted to offer the same, that would put me at a loss if a customer uses over about 600 minutes/10 hours.
From googling around, it looks like a others are seeing an average of over 1000 minutes per month on their unlimited plans, some people claiming as high as 1600 average across their customer base.
How do these guys offer $10/month unlimited and make money?
