just got an edgerouter x that i'm going to use on voip network. it has 5 ports. and was going to use power plug that came with it, plugged into battery backup i was thinking cable modem into eth0 (first port), then i have 2 polycom vvx410 phones that i would like to plug into eth1 and eth2 and have router power them with poe. have a cordless dectlink that i would plug into eth3 doesnt need poe. eth4 to my existing old non-poe switch and have printer, apple tv, computer, and wireless access point all plugged into it. main question is would using the power plug give enough power to run both the vvx410's with poe? and can i turn poe on/off on the different ports?
