Good day.
My FIOS Internet only 50/50 $44.99/month plan is ending in two months. Because I'm an existing customer, it would go up to $79.99/month when my current plan expires. This plan's VoIP performance has been extremely satisfactory.
Checked with Comcast and, because I would be a new subscriber, I can sign-up for a "Performance" Internet only plan for $29.99/month for a year (I have my own Comcast approved modem). I believe that the plan speed would be 25/5.
During the daytime there are usually five or six registered SIP clients (and another five or six unregistered ones). At any one time there would be no more than three calls in progress.
I read what uid://896609 had to say about Comcast:

I'm wondering whether or not Comcast's Performance plan would be adequate for satisfactory VoIP performance?
Thank you.
