So I have owned an 867-5309 number for about 2 years now (80s song) Currently on H2O (AT&T) its about $10 every 3 months or when people text the crap out of it and it runs out quicker. Well I've been thinking of porting it to an reputable VoIP provider, But it may cost more than I expect? Im hoping to pay about the same, around, or cheaper than what I currently pay for the current setup. It gets mostly tons of phone calls and I usually like to have a interesting voicemail greeting for all the callers, but what I'd like is maybe something like a virtual PBX or hold music, or options to choose etc if that is possible with some provider? Just to waste the time of some of the callers etc. Currently due to the area code Google Voice and several other voip providers wont accept the number, I guess due to the area.
Any suggestions If I make sense of all of this?
