I added another DID to my VOIP.MS account. When dialing out with the new Line 2, the call display at the receiving phone shows as if my Line 1 was calling. However, I finally clued in to the online VOIP.MS setting that already had the DID in place for Line 1, under Portal: Home. That's where Line 1's Caller ID was set when I ported the first DID. I removed it from the Portal and went back to modify my local Cisco/Sipura SPA 2100 settings.
Using a browser, I went to the SPA 2100's Advanced, Voice, Line 1, Subscriber Information section, but no matter where I enter the DID, outgoing calls now show up as Private Caller for recipients...I guess because I removed the DID from the VOIP.ms online Portal. However, outgoing calls from my new Line 2 display as my VOIP.ms account number on the receiving phone.
I don't see any place in either Line 1 or Line 2 (in the SPA 2100) to actually enter the Caller ID. Subscriber Information allows for...
Display Name:
User ID:
Password:
Use Auth ID:
Auth ID:
Mini Certificate:
SRTP Private Key:
Where does the actual DID for each line get entered?
If I go back to entering one of my DIDs in the VOIP.ms online Portal, then calls from both Line 1 and Line 2 show up as the same number.
Suggestions please. Thanks.
