Hey Everyone,
So a little while ago I posted here looking for a focus group to help build out a new à la carte ITSP. That post here generated a lot of interest and the participants provided an amazing amount of helpful feedback.
Unfortunately the project was abandoned for a number of reasons so it never made it to market. One of those reasons was to focus on AcroVoice, which is a full service retail brand many of you are familiar with.
Today it's time to pick up where we left off. A new platform is being built from the ground up to be more reliable, solid, and even easier to use. A fair bit of the basic functionality is already in place and while there's a lot more to go, it's ready for you fine folks to start giving it a beating!
This service is targeted towards Canadians. We provide Canadian DIDs, servers hosted within Canada and thus subject to Canadian laws (for example, that wonderful Bill C-51), rather than American laws and that their friendly Patriot Act. When the service is made generally available, it'll be billed in Canadian dollars and thus not subject to currency conversion or cross border transaction fees.
If something new to play with hasn't caught your attention yet, here's the rest of the "What's In It For Me" proposition:
- you'll enjoy up to three channels and two DIDs free of charge until at least April 30th
- you may port in one DID at no cost right now
- you'll enjoy free inbound calling (right now) and outbound calling (soon; next week maybe)
- you'll have the privilege of providing your feedback on what features would make this service even better
- you're actively invited to try to break things for us to fix
- you'll have my personal thanks for your help :)
- you'll probably get some kind of ongoing benefit if you decide to become a customer upon launch
If you're interested please PM me and I'll send you an invite to the forum where we'll be keeping track of the development and discussing bugs/complaints/praise/requests/etc. Of course you're welcome to post here, too, if you'd like.
Thanks again!
Trev
